Good reads with knitting, mysteries, or whatever..including vampires
Have just finished Barbara Bretton's two books Casting Spells and and Laced with Magic. They're both romances and those that know me well know that I usually stick to mysteries. Since I'm knitting addicted and proud of it, these two books jumped out at me at the Westfield Library. I read Laced with Magic first and then backtracked to Casting Spells. I love writers with imagination, and Bretton has plenty. Since the stories are based out of a magical town the seems normal to all of the "normal" people, the story of a yarn shop owners whose sweater projects always have matching sleeves and no dropped stitches, I found the books engrossing. While I would rather have been sock knitting watching a good old movie, I truly enjoyed these books
